Are BTE hearing aids compatible beside eyeglasses?

I'm thinking of the tiny, open-fit audible range aids.

No, you should be just fine. Just be sure to whip a little more thinking than usual when you remove your eyeglasses.

Consider also that Starkey Laboratories have produced an unscrew fit hearing aid that fits entirely surrounded by the ear. It's quite an interesting concept. I've nonetheless to fit one, but the specs look promising.
Actually, even big clunky BTEs with custom molds are compatible near eyeglasses. My teenage daughter and I both wear both and don't enjoy any problems.
