Glasses and Contact Lenses?
I am finally getting contact lenses but my doctor recommended that I also obtained eyeglasses for night time so I don't own my contacts in adjectives the time to give my eyes a rest.
My examine is, since prescription glasses are a bit pricey beside buying the frame/lenses and all, can I only just buy reading glasses for use at nighttime when I nick my contacts out? (I can't use my old specs because the I needed a stronger prescription)

If you're nearsighted, the dime store reading glasses won't oblige because they have the wrong benevolent of lens to correct your problem. You might be able to salvage some money by re-using your old frames; freshly put new lenses surrounded by them. If the glasses are individual for occasional use at home, get the cheapest lenses they own, it doesn't matter how geeky you look, if you won't be using them surrounded by public. Even if you always wear contacts, If you can't see anything minus them, It is a good belief to have a couple of glasses for emergency use. Like, if you're have to run outside in the middle of the dark because the house is on fire, you might not hold time to put your contacts in!

Reading goggles are generic, and made for an "average" eye. They don't take into vindication the shape of your eyeball and any degree of astigmatism you might own.
You'd be wiser to always own a pair of prescription lenses handy. Are you sure you will be capable of tolerate two pieces of plastic rubbing up against your eyeballs twelve and more hours a day? There will be days your eyes will be too sore to wear contact lenses.
(FYI: the "enzymatic cleaner" solution you use is to dissolve protein deposits that failure up on your lenses. That protein is the part of your eyeballs that be scraped off while you be wearing the contacts! Neat, huh?)
It would really depend on your RX. The ready made goggles are usually for reading only. Ask your Dr. if you are a myope or hyperope (- or +), and if both eyes are matching power without any correction for astigmatism. If adjectives these conditions are OK to get in position made reading glasses, by adjectives means capture them. Have your Dr advise you what is best for your condition. DON'T play games beside your eyes or vision, they are the solely ones you have.
