Why do blind people rock their head when they talk?

Seems like the blind tend to move their head back and forth when they reach a deal, why's that?

They're probably moving their heads to better hear what's going on around them similar to how your eyes will rove a bit if you notice something going on close at hand you when talking to someone.
I've notice that with Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles. Of course Ray would move his together body around, thought it was abnormal. Later when I saw the movie I found out he was hooked on herion for plentiful years, seems that's why his legs be always jump around?
