heres the problem,i own got astigmatism and trying my drastically best to slow down the "power " from increasing.i must say that for me,using the PC is particularly needy but using it also creates problems to the eye.ive tried bringing down the coloration of the blind but mentally, i still feel that the eyeshade, the pc itself is still affecting me. The are society ive seen who work and spend their unbroken day surrounded by front o the PC and dont have to wear goggles and not suffer from various eye problems.i really want to work beside confidence in front of the PC minus having anything to be woried going on for.any suggestions? also, why cant i spend more time like the "others" do short suffering from eye problems? am i genetically affected?

Astigmatism is an adjectives shape of the cornea, similar to shape of ears or nose. Working on the computer won't construct it worse and there is really nought you can do to slow it down.
If your eyes are uncomfortable when using the computer, first try wearing your goggles on the PC. If still uncomfortable see your eye doctor. You may hold dry eye or be farsighted as well as own astigmatism.
