Try a thaw washcloth placed over the eye and see if it helps. if it's a sty, it'll look similar to a pimple on or in his eyelid. Have him brush it delicately with the cloth to pop it. consequently rinse his eye with cool wet to help sooth it. If this won't clear up soon, lug him to a doctor, just to be sure.
not satisfactory description to get it. but sounds more approaching a traumatic vessel rupture with subconjunctival bleed. could also be scleritis. any way, an opthalmologic consultation is essential. achieve an appointment right away.
