What do you think of eye Laser Vision Correction? Has anyone done it?

I had my PRK 13 days ago, beside a better outcome than I was expecting. I did profusely of researching...the different procedure techniques, risks, benefits, alternatives to the surgery...and researched my surgeon outstandingly carefully. I go by experience and education versus price...and grain that my surgeon is the best in my nouns on account of where on earth he got his nurture, the length of time he have been performing LVC, and what his focus of the eye is. My husband be told that he should get his maximal rise by postop month three for his LASIK...he's 1/3 of the way at hand and already 20/20 and 20/15...but he always heal fast...from everything.

Whether or not laser eye surgery is a well-mannered idea for you depends upon your distinctive situation, your expectations, and the probability that you will attain those expectations. Lasik is very much a personal decree.

Talking to others is a worthy way to cram what laser eye surgery is like, but a thoroughly poor way to go and get learn if laser eye surgery is appropriate for you. Everyone's eyes are inventive. You would not put in your friend's contact lenses and expect to see very well. Neither can you expect the same result another have received (good or bad).

I had lasik done five years ago ,I be 21.Great outcome!! My vision be so bad I could not drive or see anythinIg short glasses.Now I do not involve any glasses or lenses!! I remunerated about 1600,but it be 5 years ago, I am sure the prices has changed by presently and techology also.I was so ecstatic by doing it ,my whole world have changed for me in my eyes.I imagine its worth it.
I had LASIK done surrounded by 1999, and as far as I'm concerned, that's the best way I could own spent $3,500! I could not wear glasses minus getting terrible headache, and contacts were getting harder and harder to tolerate (especially since at the time I lived contained by a desert environment). Worse yet, I could just wear my contacts for about 12 hours earlier my vision would deteriorate.
I be scared to loss to have it done, but hate life as-is, so I go for it. BTW, if you do decide to shift for it, and you are even the least bit worried something like being freaked out during the procedure, be sure you ask for and give somebody a lift the sedatives they contribute you - I'm glad I did. But now I've gone from around 20/300 in my "good" eye to 20/15 near both eyes now. Eight years latter and my eyes are just as sharp as they be after the surgery. There's nothing similar to looking around familiar places and seeing stuff you never could see - even next to glasses or contacts. I feel like I go from a regular tv set to a high-definition set! To this day I appreciate anyone able to see, and see terrifically well - and I own no regrets at all just about having the surgery.
But accept in mind that you may not attain perfect results - I be near-sighted, and not severely so, which is the easiest to treat. Beware of any place that claims to gaurantee results. I had mine done at a clinic specializing within the procedure, and they simply said that "most" of their patients achieved figment of the imagination good ample to drive without correction (which is 20/40 or better here within the US).
