How nearsighted can a person grasp?

I be -9.75 in my gone eye and -10.25 in my right. Had lasic surgery 5 years ago and enjoy has 20/20 phantasm ever since!!
Well I am just give or take a few blind or so it seems. My eyes own gotten progressively worse. At 48 I am now a -10. within one eye and a -9.50 in the other. I don't know how impossible it can get but I sure hope it stops soon!
I hit -14.00 surrounded by the worst meridian of my worst eye.
I've made glassses up to -22.00 and +16.00
A bit higher contained by contact lenses.
Those won't be record-breaking amounts, but much higher than that, +or -, the eye usually have other problems.
But eyes don't anything like other get progressively worse over time.
A infantile myope facing stronger glasses every year or even six months might get the impression that way, but to be exact just *soooo* youthful thinking... The teenager is not the total world, except to the teenager.
Desirada, I'm also 48 and I be told that my nearsightedness would get smaller amount due to amblyopia. However, I've noticed that I own not lost my ability to see close up but my nearsightedness seem to be getting worse.
