Can I use Acuvue Oasys if I hold astigmatism?

I just went to a strange eye doctor and was switched from 3-month toric lenses to 2-week Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear Plus. I noticed that in attendance is no astigmatism correction on these lenses. And on trying them for the first time today, my vision is a little past its sell-by date (things are pretty clear but at times i feel like i'm squinting a bit or contained by a fog). Should I give myself more time to adjust or should I go final right away?

This was the prescription on my old lenses:
L -7.0/-2.25/015
R -6.5/-1.75/010

Thanks for any direction.

Answers:    No, you should have an astigmatism lens. You have a really strong astigmatism, especially within your right eye. They won't clear up because an astigmatism lens works this way...

Instead of your eye being without fault round, its shaped like a football. Therefore, regular non astigmatism lens do not work. Toric lens are weighted in a faultless spot based on what your contact lens RX is. Without that weighted spot on your contact lens, they won't sit properly and will not correct your vision the method it needs to be.
they have Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism presently.check with ur eye doc asap.
