Answers:    In the United States, it is illegal to sell contacts next to a current RX for them, even if it's just for color and with no prescription. You do stipulation to get your eyes checked, if you have insurance, they may backing cover the exam. There are different curvatures to contacts and if they don't fit right, they can do extreme damage to your eyes. Also, how do you know what color you want, how to put them in and nick them out, and how the color will look on your eye. Your doctor will teach you how to put them in and pinch them out as well as let you try on different colors so you can settle on what color you want. The contacts themselves are pretty cheap, ranging from about $25-$40 a 6 pack (3 pairs). Each couple is designed to last 2 weeks, but listen to your Dr. because there are several different factors that go into how long contacts should second for you (example: allergies, protein build up, dry eyes).
Dear Lisser

You would need to be getting an eye exam before you would place something similar to a colored contact directly into your eye.
Contacts need to be fitted to the curvature of your eye.

I usually find that colored contacts look fake & nasty, but thats just my opinion. Most of the time people's eye color are immaculate for their face & skin coloring.

no, you don't inevitability an exam, though you may want to get one so that you can see if you're eyes like contacts. If you obtain them from Sam's Club/Costco, they cost about $18-$25 a box so total is double those prices b/c you need a vanished and a right box. you should go with your eyes
