Contacts for astigmatism?
Answers: Contacts for astigmatism start at 0.75...but that doesn't help you much if you don't know your prescription.
Hi ,
First you will need to obtain your prescription from your eye doctor specifically for your astigmatism. Prescriptions for glasses and contacts are different so you need to draw from the right one first.
Once you have the right prescription you can go online and see the different types of astigmatism contacts that are available (and you can usually achieve them at great discounts online too). You can even try some before you buy (but you will need your prescription to order).
See below for two resources that will comfort you out.
Good luck.
Look into toric contact lenses.
They are weighted on one side to prevent movement, which is the biggest problem people with astigmatism hold with contacts (due to the football shape of their eye).
