Cost of laser eye correction is crazy?
so much for the advertised prices you see for smaller quantity than lb400.
Answers: Ugh, I know! I got a quote for lb1950 per eye and they told me they couldn't guarantee it would be permanent due to a genetic eye condition I own! I would love to have it done but it's just not going to take place!
The doctor is not taking home that much per hour. The overhead expenses are considerable. And the fee is not just for 10 minutes. It covers pre surgical assessment, daylight of surgery preparation, drugs used during surgery and emergency post operative care.
The laser costs upwards of $250,000, it needs $200,000 maintanence and replacement parts twelve-monthly, a $50 knife is used once on you and then thrown out, pre surgical assessment equipment costs upwards of $100,000, the operating room is climate controlled to verbs temperature and humidity and has positive nouns pressure, the nurses, techs etc etc etc. And the better centres keep up to date by replacing the laser every two to three years.
If you shift to a discount place, you need to worry roughly how they are saving expenses. In one centre contained by North America, they were reusing the knife that cuts the flap. As it be supposed to be thrown away after use, it was not designed for sterilizing and could not be autoclaved. That centre have to recall thousands of patients and test them for AIDS, Hep C etc because surgery have been done with an non sterile axe.
If you can't afford the surgery, don't risk your eyes at a discount surgeon. Save up or just wear glasses.

But, have you hear of I-GO Vision Correction lenses? I have been seriously considering laser eye correction surgery, but I saw an advert contained by a woman's magazine and looked up the website.

They are only based surrounded by London at the moment, but basically it is a contact lense you wear at night (for 8 hours), as opposing up to 16 hours each day. It corrects your cornea overnight, so that you enjoy perfect vision when you give somebody a lift them out on a morning! They sound great and cost the same as majority contact lenses.
Might be worth checking out! I'm in the west of Ireland at the moment, otherwise I'd be booking in for a consultation contained by London!

It seems expensive but if you think that every service is out to spawn a profit it isn't so much. Its not only the surgeon its the nurse, receptionist, supplies and other overheads like rent etc.
I would love my eyes done but I cant afford it any...sadly! Yep its crazy money like. But everyone i know thats have it done says the results are amazing.
