make sure your hand are clean and rinse the lens off with contact lens cleaner beforehand putting them in your eyes They should not feel like something is within your eye The red is probably cause by something that was on your lens when you put it in so only make sure your are cleaning them properly good luck Source(s): i have contacts
u also need to make sure u are wearing them properly and not inside out if u know wat i tight, & yeah they do feel like there's somethin in your eye when u first draw from used to them but u should be ok after a while.
But as the above person says u must make sure ur hand are clean before handling ur contacts Source(s): i wear contacts
wash ur hands very devout then git them out of the container and clean them 5 seconds on respectively side. You feel something in your eye because your eye has something bright to it on it.you probably had a piece of dust on the Lens that's why your eye was red. Also make sure your contact lens is not inside out.

Make sure your wearing them the correct method. If there inside out, it will drive you crazy. Make sure you have cleaned your hands next to soap and water (not antibacterial gel, that huuurts) then make sure in attendance isn't anything on the lense or there's a rip on it. If there's a rip, throw it out, it will really irritate your eye. Then make sure the contact lense is facing the right way on your finger. There should be a little "123" on it. If you frontage it up to the light make sure it says "123" and not "321" if it say "321" just turn the lense inside out. Then insert it into your eye, then you're all set! Any other problems, simply ask your eye doctor :) Or just message me, I'll help you all I can. Source(s): Contact lense wearer.
