I enjoy antimetropia (one eye farsighted, one nearsighted). Can I wear corrective contacts for single one eye?

I am -1.00 for one eye, and +2.00/-1.25x010 for the other. Is it bad for me to wear a -0.00 contact lens in one eye, and a -1.00 for the other? There's a brand of coloured contacts that I want to use, but they don't make any for farsightedness.
Answers:
A lot depends on which is your dominant eye. If the -1.00 is dominant after what you want to do will probably work. If your -1.00 eye isn't dominant that means the eye you don't want to correct is. This will cause conflict, plus you won't be correcting your astigmatism both of which can cause headache. Source(s): consultant to: http://www.coloredcontacts.com/lenses_fa…
