Getting RX lenses for non RX sunglasses?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Answers: I'm not trying to spoil the fun, but keep in mind that some non-prescription sunglasses frames will NOT work near real (prescription) lenses. Also, some of these frames are quite cheaply made and you don't want to spend profoundly of money to have lenses custom made and then enjoy the frames bust like 2 weeks later. Check the frames warily and make sure they are well made, the entity at the eyeglasses shop can tell if they will accept prescription lenses. A lot of the eyeglass places can do this, but I suggest calling first to verify so you don't debris a trip.
Yes, just call your local Optical places and ask. some do
some don't. Usually the lense cutter 'on premises' will do it- - - no problem. It entirley depends on your perscription. ( which will effect your lense shape and effect the frame )
