The Optometrists told me that I inevitability Reading Glasses .BUT the thing puzzles me that I can read things close or near me. BUT I can’t not read article far or farther away from me….. I need help??

Answers:    Hey NEHU,

From what you're decribing, it sounds similar to you're a teenager having some focusing problems from the board to the transcription and back. To keep the words simple, you enjoy an accommodation problem.

You do need reading goggles to relax your eyes while you're reading material up close.
You need to hold your eyes further away from the notes so that you're not converging your eyes too much. Try to look up m ore often. There are phantasm therapy programs to help you work your eye muscles better to advance your vision.
you're probably straining your eyes when you read and see close things - and when you try to see distant objects - your eyes need to accomodate to the investigational distance.
with the glasses - probably the eyes won't be so strained - and the accomodation for in close proximity - to far vision would be more 'gentle'. good luck ! It's what happen to me. Why are you puzzled. Just get the reading glasses and it'll bring in it all better.

Problem solved.

God Bless.
Pick some nice glasses, you hear? :]
Sounds similar to nearsighted astigmatism. And you say your optician said you only needed reading specs? Sounds like he needs some eye CLASSES instead of you need eyeglasses.
