I am still worried roughly speaking my driving verbs examination even though i wear contact lenses power -12 00 please someone?

Answers:    This is sort of the basic problem.

Your eyes are too strong. Yep, too strong for average vision, but fine for really up close illusion.

The formula used for lens power is P=1/d where d is contained by meters.

If your eye was +1.00 too strong, you'd be focused a 1 meter away. You'd want a -1.00 correction to move that focal point out from one meter to 'infinity'.

If you were +2.00 too strong, you'd be focused at a partially meter away, and need a -2.00 lens to move that focal point from a partly meter or about a foot and a partially, out to infinity or about 20 foot or so.

If you were +3.00 too strong, you'd stipulation a -3.00.
you'd be focused at a third of a meter in front of you.

If you be focused an a quarter of a meter, you'd need a in the region of a -4.00.
fifth of a meter, +5.00 too strong, need a -5.00,
sixth of a meter, entail a -6.00 lens.

1/7 of a meter, need a -7.00.
1/8th of a meter, have need of a -8.00
you
you are a -12.00, so that means you are already focused a 1/12 of a meter of almost 8 cm in front of you clearly. You stipulation to put a -12 lens to move that focal point out to optical infinity or about 20 foot or so. Then you are in typical focus, like the 'rest' of us.

With that, you'll see the little packages up there merely fine. You'll correct to 20/20 WITH your glasses ON. So here shouldn't be any problem with the try-out, at all. Just use your Rx. Yes you'll own a note on your driver's license that say you need your eyeglasses, but you'll get your license newly fine assuming you know how to drive.

Drive with your brain, not your emotion. Be kind. Be courteous, be docile. You'll do fine. It won't be your glasses that fall through your drivers test.
There shouldnt be a problem if you own that high of a prescription as long as your contacts are correcting your eye to 20/20.

I wouldn't be fidgety if the doctor said everything was fine.
Why are you worried, do you get the impression you can you see ok? If it has be awhile since your last exam, a year or more, you may consider have one prior to the test. Then you will own the best correction and vision you can.
