I merely come to know i enjoy astigmatism , do i entail to wear goggles adjectives the time ?
Answers: Astigmatism means the front surface of your eye is shaped more like a football than a basketball. As a result of the curvature of the front of your eye, imagery in a certain meridian are blurrier than the other meridians. For example if you be looking at the spokes of a wheel, the spokes in one direction would look blurry and would be clear contained by other places. Astigmatism affects both your distance and near vision.
Depending on the amount you own (you gave the angle of astigmatism, but not the amount), you may notice a big difference between wearing and not wearing your goggles or contacts. If it is a large amount, you will definitely be more comfortable wearing some type of correction- specs or contacts. It may be an adjustment at first, but if it's the correct prescription, it will get better.
Good luck!
Astigmatism is an optical defect, whereby hallucination is blurred due to the inability of the optics of the eye to focus a point object into a sharp focused image on the retina. Astigmatism cause difficulties in seeing fine detail, and in some cases vertical lines. The astigmatic optics of the human eye can commonly be corrected by spectacles. Yes, you need to wear glasses. Please see on ophthalmologist soon. The 160 and 175 you show give the impression of being to be just the axis...the direction that the correction is ground at in your lenses, it have nothing to do with the actual power of the lens.
Those numbers don't relief at all in determining how strong your specs are.
I have astigmatism too.You must wear them when reading,or you'll get dizzy and draw from a headache. Other than that, you don't have to. yes. otherwise u may begin to seize headaches, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. the angles will also change exceedingly frequently if u dont. then dizziness, blackouts. so wear them always.. or atleast contacts.
Probably. But, in that are contacts that can adjust for an astigmatism as well. My daughter wears them. But, she is also to hand sighted and needs them all the time anyways. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
