I want to do laser/lasik surgery for my myopie, but.?

I am not sure if I should go to a specialized clinic or a hospital. I found a doctor at a hospital to be precise a successful opthamologist researcher and very popular. But what should one really consider when getting this type of surgery? What is the most noteworthy...the doctor's experience or the machinery used,etc...??

Answers:    No one have ever gone blind from lasik that I know and I've done a lot of research.

I would look at both the doctors experience and the laser. The newer ones are 100 times better than they used to be. I go to a special clinic because they had the best reputation and the hottest laser (allegretto). Also, make sure you do intralasik to create the flap because the ancient method is the reason for most of the complications.
