Is it not detrimental to wear contacts when i sleep?
Answers: There are a few brands that have be approved for sleeping in, but you will be knotty pressed to find many Dr's who agree beside it.
Unless you are an emergency worker who may called surrounded by the middle of the night and enjoy to respond fast , near is no real origin not to take them out and tolerate them disinfect overnight.
No matter what the brand is, microbes is still trapped behind the lens. The risk of eye infections is oodles times greater for those who sleep with them.
Do yourself a favor, and don't purloin risks. It just take a few seconds to remove them and be undisruptive.
Many Dr's in here own repeated the same point many times.
What my doctor said be, it depends on your age, if you young you should bring them out at night and gain and let your eyes rest. YES! With my up to date O2 Optix, my eye doctor suggested that I could actually snooze and even sleep in them
Because these contacts are made of a current silicone, these contacts actually breathe and allow oxygen to flow through them preventing drying and the potential build up of proteins and bacterial contamination.
I really don't meditate contacts are intended to be left contained by while sleeping. Just to be on the safe side, nick them out before getting some "shut eye". Better to be risk-free than sorry. I dono if its safe but i in actuality do it alot by accident and the with the sole purpose thing that happen to me is they get dryed out and kinda blury.
