Its not easy to see Bright words .?

Im a freshman and i have to look at the white board very habitually . When i look up there the teacher habitually writes with different color markers . I just this minute noticed that the lighter colored words are blurry while the black and dark blue etc colors are graceful to see. Is this normal ?
