URGENT! Clueless about contacts?!?
im getting acuvue 2. so tell me this: is it one lense, one eye per box of 6, or is it a pair in a box. also, how long will 6 boxes last, thats how much im covered for. thank you so m uch.Answers: its usually half...like if u get 6 boxes its usually 3 boxes for the left, 3 boxes for the right, and theres usually five contacts in each box , or 6 so u may have 15 or 18 pairs of contacts,,,,and one pair usually lasts 2 weeks..so do 15 or 18 times 2 and thats how long it will last...even though i wear a pair for longer like a month..if u take care of them...so they may last a year...all depends though
Each eye gets one box. Each box lasts 3 months. If you have 6 boxes total..then it will last you 9 months for both eyes.
Remember that these are 2 week disposable contacts.so replace them when the time is up.
Contact lenses and eye color changing?
Hey, I always wanted to change my eye color to blue, I have brown eyes and I know contacts are the only way to change my eye colors, but I dont have any eye problems and my friend told me contacts are just like glasses??, is there a certain type of contacts that can only change my eye color and how much might it be? thanksAnswers: yes there is... most color contact lenses come with different prescriptions including plano (0.00 / no power)!
You still need a contact lens fitting by an eye doctor because if they do not fit properly they could cause discomfort even damage to your eyes. Your eye doctor will be able to recommend a type of color lens for you :)
if you hv not ur eisght weak then u can take powerless contact lense with any color
Is it bad to shower while wearing eye contacts?

Well depending... it is possible for your contacts to get flushed out and if you get soap/shampoo in your eyes it will get into your contacts and you will have to take them out and clean them... and until you get them out it will sting and irritate your eyes. Also depending on where you live and how your water is treated bacteria could get into your contacts and could possibly cause an infection. Just remember that soft contact lenses soak up pretty much anything that comes into contact with them.
I think it would just be easier to shower without them unless you really cannot see anything without them :)

it's fine as long as you dont' rub your eyes a lot.
I don't know how some people leave theirs in all the time!
by the end of the day mine are EXTREMELY dry even when I use drops.
it's bad if you lose a contact down the drain,BUT this has happened to me once in 20 years !
