My contact lenses enjoy powers of D -0.50 and D -0.25. What does the "D" have it in mind?

I am currently looking to buy colored contacts online for cosplay. My choice contact lenses have the powers of -0.50 and -0.25, but my current lenses have powers of "D -0.50" and "D -0.25". Does this anticipate anything, and will getting -0.50 and -0.25 without this "D" affect my vision?

In luggage it helps, my current contact lenses are UltraFlex II Aspheric. The colored contacts I am looking at are FreshLook Colors.

Thank you.

Answers:    D means diopter, a section of measure of the refractive power of a lens.
-0.50 and -0.25 actually scrounging D -0.50 and D -0.25 respectively. There is no difference between -0.50 and
D -0.50, and -0.25 and D -0.25.
D stands for dioptric power.

One of them is a -.50 and the other a -.25.

The D has been contained by use for the last 100 years.
D= degree? this is just about a prescription at all. -.25 is the weakest lens made.
