Questions roughly speaking Transitions lenses?

If I'm out shopping or on campus, will I have to squint to look at something through the sunlight, or will I be satisfied will the amount of UV protection provided?

Will I be capable of choose my own frames?

(Name some brands for Transitions, please.)

And what are the average expenses of this particular type of eyeglass?

I want to know if they are worth it, because I don't want to invest in a couple of eyeglasses that I am going to hate.

Answers:    An optical where you be in motion to buy your glasses will have demo lenses that will show you how dimness the lenses get. The black will get dark than the brown color will. They will also be able to tell you the cost. It have a lot of variables.
Transitions are a patent so they are the merely ones that can make a lens that changes outside.
And yes you'll be capable of choose any eyeglass frame they have and the lenses can be made to fit that.
As for if you'll love them, they do take a second to turn final to clear when you walk inside, but they darken quickly stepping out. If you are outside like mad and don't want to have to have a seperate set of two of glasses you'll like them.

My daughter have a pair of glasses near these lenses and she is disappointed with them. In her case, they don't turn especially dark when she is outside and they don't become totally clear when she is inside. She has the type that turns dark shades of gray in bright light. I hold used these types of lenses on past pairs of glasses and I wasn't too thrilled beside them either. I had like problem she did. I don't know if it has anything to do with it but both my daughter and I wear strong prescriptions. Perhaps those beside weaker prescriptions will have better results with them. These are adjectives questions you should be asking two important inhabitants:

1) Your eye doctor who prescribed
your glasses.

2) Your optician, because whatever specs or lenses you buy from the optician... He/she is responsible for making sure that the glasses you buy match your prescription, and that the frame and lenses and any special option fit your medical needs.
