The eye doctor say I hold a cornea swelling but I do not surface any dull pain.?

It's my faulty really because i doze in my contacts pretty much everyday. Even though I wear on a daily basis disposable contact lenses, i often cart them out at night until that time washing my hand, but i put them in every morning after wash my hand. But when he diagnosed it, he advise me not to wear contact lenses for 24 hours. So I'm assuming it's not so serious and plus I do not feel any discomfort. Are in that any chances that I requirement to be hospitalized, require surgery, or go blind?
