Why did my uncle suddenly turn blind within one eye?

This morning my uncle suddenly went blind in his right eye. He said nought happened yesterday, and he woke up normally, and suddenly his mirage in his right eye went blurry, later his vision went black. He still can't see through his right eye. What happen to his eye?

Answers:    idk but get him to the ER cuz they may be able to fix it but if you keep on too long then it won't be able to be fixed.
it in actual fact could have been a stroke.
my dad be in the hospital visiting a friend anad suddenly one eye go blurry then black then some come back and the next year he went to the eye doctor and they said he had a stroke. he took some eye drops and they said it would help yourself to a few months but he would get most of his vision posterior and sure enough with contained by 3 months he had most of it back.
it didn't hurt and within were no other symptoms but it was confirmed that he have a mini stroke in his eye.
The answer is best left up to the eye doctor. It could be a myriad of cause. Don't wait to do that. One cause is taking seriously of ED drugs, but only the doctor can tell you. This is an emergency room class of situation.he needs to be seen by a doctor NOW. It can be various things.too many to list here.but most are not virtuous.
