Why you don't see abundant ophtalmologists or optometrist beside any lasik or prk done?
Answers: i go to an ophthalmologist to find my eyes checked. he wears eyeglasses too. a couple years ago i was considering lasik. i asked him what he thought roughly speaking it and he said, "do you see me wearing glasses?" i said, "yeah." and he said, "powerfully, there you budge." i would love to get lasik too, but i'm going to stick beside the daily contacts routine. i'm too freaked out that i would hold a new problem to traffic with afterwards, resembling chronic dry eyes or blurriness or bad dark vision or something worse. give me the heebee-geebies
Personal choice, I am shortsighted and have astigmatism and own worn glasses since i be very little. Wear contacts presently but i think, as okay as others, that there is other a risk with getting laser treatment, similar to a risk of blindness. Dont want blindness to be the price of vanity, if you know what i be determined lol I don't know how old these relatives were, but once you grasp to be about 40 or so, the benefits of laser correction are not as much, because you will soon have need of glasses for reading, using the computer etc. So, you will be spending resembling 3 grand to: not wear eyeglasses, and then find you still enjoy to use glasses!
When you're younger, your eyes usually own no trouble seeing near things, so if you win your distance vision fixed, (and they do it correctly) you won't entail glasses. However, in attendance is no gaurantee how long this will be the case.
